Musical Vibrations is based on the idea that musical sounds have vibrating energy that is similar to the vibrating energy of color. For example, middle C has been equated by Eric L. Wagner as yellow green. The violin painting was selected by the Highlands-Cashiers Chamber Music Festival for their Fortieth Season promotional image.
